BECKY KIEN

Group Fitness Instructor, multi-certified trainer, and your guide to consistent fitness.

Becky Kien brings extensive certification credentials and real-life perspective to her role as a Group Fitness Instructor at Catalyst Fitness. Following the closure of Parkview Health and Fitness during COVID, Becky found a new home at Catalyst after hearing positive reviews from family and friends who were members. This transition has proven rewarding, as she consistently expresses her love for the Catalyst community. With certifications in group fitness instruction, group cycling, yoga, Group Power, and TRX, plus CPR/AED training, Becky offers members diverse class experiences informed by comprehensive training and personal dedication.

Building Consistency Through Community: Becky's fitness philosophy—"It's never going to be easy... but being consistent will give you the results you're working towards!"—reflects her practical approach to wellness. As a mother of seven children, she serves as a powerful example of prioritizing personal health despite life's many demands. This relatable perspective resonates particularly with busy members who might otherwise struggle to make time for fitness, as she demonstrates that consistent self-care is both possible and essential regardless of life's challenges.

What Makes Becky Unique:

  • Multiple Certifications: Holds an impressive array of fitness credentials spanning cardio, strength, and mind-body disciplines.
  • Inspirational Example: As a mother of seven who maintains her own fitness journey, provides living proof that self-care is possible even with demanding responsibilities.
  • Community Builder: Values and nurtures the "Catalyst family" atmosphere, appreciating how members and coworkers support each other.
  • Faith-Centered: Maintains spiritual grounding through regular church attendance with her family, bringing balance to her active lifestyle.

When not leading energetic classes at Catalyst, Becky enjoys reading, working in her yard, and spending quality time with her husband and seven children. Looking toward the future, she hopes to welcome grandchildren in the next five years and possibly transition toward retirement, allowing her to enjoy this next family chapter. Described as "happy, active, and spiritual," Becky lives by her personal motto—"Life moves way too fast... count your blessings"—bringing this mindful appreciation to every class she teaches.
